on the occasion of the university student, last November 20, Guidance Service Center Local Guárico made an activity the students who study at our institution.
Prof. Armando Hernandez was responsible for such a significant honor, among them: some activities in the areas of the Library "Miguel Otero Silva" Local Centre, which was attended by the Head of Academic Unit Dr. Maria Medina, who had a word of greeting to the participants of the Conference. Also presented to the students of the Introductory Course some advisers of the various programs offered at the university. Later the central activity of the day that consisted of two papers aimed at the students coming to enter the system and distance education and regular students of the institution. The first presentation was given by Prof. José Gregorio Matos, academic adviser for the area of \u200b\u200bAdministration and Accounts, which was based on the Skills Development A Student of focused on the importance to the subject of distance learning to develop skills in knowing being, know-how and make it known within the educational system that represents the National Open University.
Moreover, the second presentation was given by Prof. Lourdes Pulido, Advisor to the Integral Education area, who discerned on Tools for effective distance learning, highlighting the advantages of implementing strategies such as NLP and coaching to obtain a significant learning in this kind of study.
With this activity, it was possible that the students interact with counselors and each other, and to know the characteristics of the mode of distance learning and the acquisition of tools and knowledge to enable it to successfully navigate the path of their professional training.
